Teenagers can do anything that mature male and mature women can do. So you would think that teenagers would be a special population where we ought to be very, very careful because they are going through their puberty stage and they are going through maybe a growth stage and going through molecular or hormonal changes. But that doesn't somehow prevent them from having the ability to do what is happening these days. So if you were to watch your normal teenager at the gym doing the same routine as a mature adult is doing. So there isn't anything wrong with teenagers doing the routines of mature people as long as they truly understand about form and correct biomechanics.
