Not everyone eats a perfect diet everyday the best source of vitamins and minerals is through food. Vitamins definitely can help you if you have a deficiency. If you are iron deficient or you're diagnosed anaemia, an iron supplement would definitely benefit you. Calcium supplements are definitely beneficial to help prevent osteoporosis. And the best way to determine if supplements are right for you is to get a full physical and, through your doctor. And if there are any deficiencies the supplement will help reverse those deficiencies and you will feel better. Most men and women don't eat nearly as much fruit and vegetables and diary products as they require to actually meet their daily needs. So supplements, vitamins definitely do have a place, or can enhance your overall health if you are deficient.
